Marks: The star-within-a-star American Girl logo is incised on the sole of the left foot.
Height: 18 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: An upswept black curly wig of synthetic fibers with side tendrils accented with a glittery green headband with yellow organza and satin petals, brown sleep eyes, parted smile with two upper teeth and nude lip color
Clothes (as described by American Girl): A green-and-yellow dress featuring a yellow organza illusion neckline, satin petal-shaped bodice, layered green satin overskirt, yellow organza skirt with petal hem, and yellow satin underskirt. A yellow flower at the waist with a rhinestone center and embroidered vine details complete the look.
Accessories (as described by American Girl): A golden-metal chain necklace with green gemstones, a pair of yellow elbow-length gloves, a pair of green open-toe kitten heels with golden binding, and a pair of green cotton underwear.
Backstory: “Focused and driven, Tiana is determined to make her dream of opening her own restaurant come true” (American Girl website).
Other: Created in collaboration with Disney, at the time of this installation, 18-inch Princess Tiana is one of three newly-released Disney princess dolls by American Girl. This doll is from the collection of Amber Walton, a gift from her mother, Patricia Logan.
