Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Two-strand twisted brown shoulder-length hair with the top section pulled up into a ponytail, brown painted eyes, painted upper eyelashes with blue eyeshadow; closed, smiling mouth and dark lip color.
Clothes: The reimagined full-length gown pays homage to #1 Barbie’s black and white striped swimsuit with a black and white striped fitted bodice that complements the black and white swirl pattern of the full skirt. The skirt has an underlayer of bold black and white striped tulle. White cat eye sunglasses with blue oval lenses, silver and sapphire blue stud earrings, full-length sheer black opera gloves, and black open-toe heels complete the fashion statement.
Other: Barbie Signature 65th Blue Sapphire Anniversary Barbie celebrates #1 Barbie’s 65th anniversary. From March 5, 2024, at 9:00 PM PT through March 6, 2024, at 8:59 PM PT, only Barbie Signature members could buy the Barbie 65th Anniversary doll at MattelCreations.com after which time purchasing was open to the public. The package includes a certificate of authenticity. The doll’s sapphire earrings pay tribute to Barbie’s 65 years of longevity. A full description of the doll is on the back of the box with the ending statement, “Here’s to 65 years of fun, fashion, and unlimited possibilities.”
