Height: 13 and 3 inches, respectively
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: (Toddler Baby) dark brown curly wig, painted brown side-glancing eyes, closed painted mouth; (Mini Doll) human hair and painted facial features. The Mini Doll originally had synthetic black hair which was later replaced with clippings from the curator’s hair.

Clothes: Toddler Baby wears a replica of a dress worn by the curator’s daughter at age 4. In addition to the replicated dress (and matching panties), Toddler Baby wears lime green socks with yellow stripes and white lace accents at ankle cuffs and black hand-made faux leather Mary Jane-style shoes. The mini doll wears a light blue and white gingham dress, painted-on white socks, and painted-on black Mary Jane shoes.
Other: Karen Oyekanmi of Kissing Kousins was commissioned to make this doll and to replicated a dress worn by the curator’s then-4-year-old daughter. Toddler Baby has a handmade felt and cotton orange blanket (not shown) and a certificate of authenticity.
