Clothes: Wears a peach voile dress with a matching hat with floral accents, a white slip, white pantalettes, white knit thigh-high stockings, and black faux-leather pointed-toe shoes with black ribbon accents at the toe; holds a white-lace-trimmed peach parasol. Includes a paper photograph of the doll and her storybook, Rachel Williams Her Own Story Chicago 1983.
Other: Georgetown Collection, Inc. (Jeff McKinnon former founder/owner, and Gretchen Springer former vice-president of marketing) was a Maine-based company specializing in affordable porcelain dolls by several doll artists with Linda Mason being one such artist. Rachel Williams is part of Linda Mason’s American Diary Collection for Georgetown. This doll represents a young girl from Chicago in 1893. A storybook about an episode in the doll’s life is included. The original owner of this Rachel Williams doll was the late Hazel L. King, an avid doll collector.
