Clothes: Wears a yellow crocheted suspender dress that has a white bodice, white crocheted-on underpants, and yellow and white ankle-strap sandals
Doll in Pink and Purple
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Red bouclé yarn hair styled in two long side braids with bangs; the braids are adorned with two layers of pink and lavender crocheted flowers; black plastic eyes, crocheted upper eyelashes, a pink stitched mouth.
Clothes: Wears a four-tiered pink, lavender, pink, and purple dress with pink suspenders and a white bodice; the attached pink undergarment is crocheted. Purple crocheted Mary-Jane-style shoes complement the dress.
Other: These are examples of two hand-crocheted amigurumi* dolls made in Ukraine by Etsy seller, Leaflet of Creativity. The larger doll in yellow has posable elbows and jointed knees. *Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures, in this case, the small “creatures” are dolls.
