Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Black curly human-hair wig, brown-glass flirty sleep eyes with attached upper eyelashes; full painted-red lips, an open mouth with two upper teeth, and a felt tongue
Clothes: Wears a period-appropriate, if not original red dress trimmed in white rickrack, replaced tights and black shoes
Other: The Koenig & Wernicke 621/46 mold, used only for black dolls by the German doll company is rare. This doll has straight toddler legs, pierced ears, and a working “mama” crier. Koenig & Wernicke made dolls in Waltershausen, Thuringia, Germany from 1912 through 1935 and often included black dolls in their extensive line of character and dolly-face dolls.
