Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Brown wool hair with multiple cloth ribbon ties, brown painted eyes, painted red lips on a closed mouth
Clothes: Blue paisley-print cotton dress, tea-stained white pantalettes, black knit sewn-on stockings, handmade leather Mary-Jane-style shoes with wooden soles
Other: Attached to the dress is a 7-inch rag doll that “Pearl” made as a companion. The ragdoll has two red yarn pigtails, mismatched button eyes, a red cloth stitched-on triangular nose, and a horizontal red cloth stitched-on mouth. The mini doll wears an off-white and royal blue floral-print dress. Made by Sandra Douglas in 2007, other Pearl dolls exist, but each doll is a hand-made one-of-a-kind and differently dressed.
