Height: 39 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Multiple locs extend from the top near the back of the head; the remaining hair is carved; black inset pupil-less eyes and carved facial features.
Clothes: Earthtone upholstery-type fabric covers the neck. A handcrafted raffia dress covers the body and arms. The dress extends approximately 32 inches below the raffia-cinched waist; wears gold tone tiny hoop earrings.
Other: Originally from Monrovia, Liberia, Kor January is a prolific doll artist who lives in Ohio. His dolls are all one-of-a-kind and highly sought after by discriminating doll connoisseurs. This carved wood praying art doll is legless with praying hands. For display, a metal ring is attached to the center of the back for hanging or it can be seated to display.
