Clothes/Accessory:  Daria wears a white linen Boneka dress with attached cotton lining, the hem of which is bright green as are the underpants. The dress is hand-painted with a wildflower motif including two rabbits attempting to hide.  The dress ties at the shoulders.  White anklets and green shoes that match the hem of the lining and underpants complete her outfit. Daria was presented in an unbleached cotton drawstring bag with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Other: Monday’s Child Daria is #14 of 100 dolls made for Boneka by Dianna Effner, who was well known in the doll community for dolls that capture the essence of childhood—from babies to young girls and boys. In addition to creating and selling her dolls, she also sculpted dolls for others, Boneka being one such company. Boneka is a German manufacturer well known for its fine doll fashions and accessories. Effner’s doll molds have also been used by independent doll artists.
