Height: 11-1/2 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouths: The different colored rooted hair is styled differently for each doll. Valencia has the lightest hair color; all others have black or brunette hair. The dolls have brown painted eyes with painted upper and lower eyelashes and closed mouths.
Clothes: Lena wears a tan, red, yellow, and green floral blouse; tan high-waist suspender pants, red pumps, silver-tone hoop earrings, and has a red duffle bag. Kimani wears a red and white polka dot dress with a yellow bodice, blue necklace and earrings, tan ankle boots, and has a tan handbag. Valencia wears a pink shirt with the number 21 on the front, khaki shorts, a denim jacket with camouflage sleeves, pink sneakers, green stud earrings, and has a pink handbag. Dahlia wears a burgundy tunic, a rose necklace, floral leggings, tan mock lace-up shoes, a beige cuff bracelet, beige hoop earrings, and has a tan handbag.
Other: Designed by Stacey McBride-Irby (former Mattel fashion-doll designer), the Prettie Girls! 11-1/2-inch multi-articulated fashion dolls represent different ethnicities and have different skin tones, and backstories. The dolls’ curvy bodies are jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, under the breasts, and knees for complete pose-ability. Each doll uses the same head sculpt and comes with a doll stand.
Lena represents an African American young woman with a light-medium-brown skin tone. She is smart and sophisticated.
Valencia has the lightest complexion. She is from the Dominican Republic. Her name means health and strength.
Dahlia is South Asian. Her complexion is similar to Lena’s. She is gentle and considerate.
Kimani is from Africa and has the deepest complexion. She is beautiful and sweet.
