Name:  Amalia and Kira

Made by and When: Helen Kish, 1997

Material: String-jointed vinyl

Height:  11 and 16 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouths:  Brown wigs, brown painted eyes, closed mouths; Amalia’s textured wig has curly bangs, side curls, and one long braid in the back. Kira’s curly wig has bangs and two curly pigtails adorned with turquoise tulle ponytail holders.

Clothes:  Except for the tutu style and the design at the top of each leotard, both dolls wear identical ballet costumes of a white leotard, white tights, and white slippers with turquoise lace-up ribbons. Amalia’s turquoise tutu is made of jersey-knit fabric. Kira’s tutu is made of several layers of turquoise tulle.

Other: Amalia and Kira are two of the four dolls from Helen Kish’s Ballet Recital collection. Amalia and Kira share the same head sculpts as Naomi and Tooloo.
