Magic Attic Keisha Dolls 1-4 in a photograph from the back illustrates the different hairstyles and textures.

Hair, Eyes, and Mouths:  Dolls 1-3 have dark brown Kanekalon wigs. (Doll 1’s hair is restyled in three braids; it was originally styled like Doll #2). Doll 1’s hair is coarser than the other wigged dolls’ hair.  Doll #3 has microbraids with half of the top pulled back; Doll 3 is the only doll without bangs. Doll 4 has dark brown rooted curly hair. Each doll has brown stationary eyes and painted lower eyelashes. Their mouths are closed.

Clothing:

Magic Attic Club Keisha Doll 1

Doll 1 wears a lavender jumper, a white blouse, white socks, and lavender lace-up sneakers. A lavender floppy cloth hat is also part of this doll’s ensemble. A lavender hairbrush and the book, Magic Attic Book 1 The Adventure Begins by Marcia Wilkie was included with Doll 1.

Magic Attic Club Keisha Doll 2

Doll 2 wears lavender overalls, a lavender and white polka dot blouse, and white sneakers with purple laces.

Magic Attic Club Keisha Doll 3

Doll 3 wears Keisha’s Fifth Avenue outfit—a purple leopard-print-trimmed jacket, a black bodysuit, faux fur leopard-print pants, and faux fur leopard-print sneakers.  Doll 3’s original outfit seen here is a purple and white shirt, a lavender T-shirt, a denim skirt, and purple sandals.

Magic Attic Club Keisha Doll 4

Doll 4 wears a lavender, purple, and white striped knit top and has a matching hair scrunchie. Tan pants with floral embroidery on the front of each leg, a lavender fleece belt, and lavender fleece lace-up shoes complete her fashion.

Other:  Magic Attic Club Keisha is part of a line of slender-bodied modern 18-inch dolls with a series of books that tell stories that developed after finding a key to a magic attic. Each doll has a favorite color; the color purple is Keisha’s favorite. The only black doll in the line, Keisha #1 was released one year after the core dolls were introduced. Three other versions followed. Robert Tonner sculpted the Magic Attic face mold.
