Name: Darla Daley 1.0 Twist ‘N Shout
Made by and When: Integrity Toys, 2011
Material: Rigid, articulated vinyl
Marks: ©2010 / JWU BY IT
Height: 12 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Black rooted, shoulder-length curled-under bob adorned with a white ribbon headband; brown-painted side-glancing eyes, closed mouth with mauve lip color.
Clothes: Rib-knit white turtleneck sweater, black jumper skirt piped in white thread, white fishnet stockings, gold-tone stud earrings; a pair of black patent-leather flat shoes are attached to the box liner; has a doll stand.
Other: Integrity Toys Item #PP023, from the Poppy Parker collection and designed by Jason Wu for Integrity Toys, uses the original Darla Daley mold 1.0 for the head and body. The head sculpt was reportedly damaged after production and before other versions were produced. Made in a limited edition of 400, Twist ‘N Shout Darla Daley is, therefore, the only Darla Daley with this head sculpt. Darla Daley is a doll character, and friend of Poppy Parker and uses the Latino skin tone. See out-of-the-box pictures here.
