“Louis Marx and Company was an American toy manufacturer in business from 1919 to 1980” (Louis Marx). “While the company primarily operated in the United States, it had a global presence, with products distributed in Europe and other regions. The extent of First Love’s availability in Europe is less well-documented compared to its popularity in the U.S.” (Open AI). However, this doll’s unmarked neck is attributed to European distribution by Pedigree Dolls and Toys, Ltd.
