Hair, Eyes, Mouth: The brown curly mohair wig is styled in two side pigtails. The photographed face of a child transferred to cloth creates the face.
Clothes: Wears a sewn-on red and white stripe “old-fashioned” dress with a white eyelet half-slip, painted-on white stockings, and painted-on black Mary-Jane-style shoes.
Other: The artist, Judi Hunziker, printed a picture of a child onto fabric to create this one-of-a-kind photo doll that she named Laura. The doll has a white cloth body and brown-painted lower arms and hands. Hunziker’s doll-making focuses on Izannah-Walker-style dolls. See another doll by this artist here.
