Height: 10 inches and 6 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Jessi has rooted dark brown hair, pink stud earrings, brown painted eyes, and a closed mouth. Becca has rooted black hair, brown painted eyes, and a closed mouth.
Clothes: The dolls are all original in ballet outfits. Jessi wears pink. Becca wears light blue.
Other: “From 1991-1992 Remco released 12 sets of two dolls, a baby-sitter and her charge” (Baby-Sitters Club Doll Wiki). Jessi is one of the main characters in the Baby-Sitters Club book series and Becca (her younger sister) is her charge. A mini book and a How-to Guide for Baby-Sitters were included with set #9335, released in 1992. An identical set was sold through the J. C. Penney catalog as illustrated in the 2nd gallery image of dolls still attached to the bottom of the original box. The J. C. Penney set included extra pairs of shoes, a boom box, and a small case in addition to the How-to Guide for Baby-Sitters and mini book.
Released in 1991, set #9308 by Remco is the first-edition Jessi and Becca boxed doll set. The first edition set used different dolls with deeper complexions.
Sold separately the Scholastic Books shown feature Jessi Ramsey as the protagonist in each. The titles are Jessi Ramsey, Pet-sitter; Jessi and the Awful Secret, and Jessi’s Wish.
