Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Sculpted and painted black hair, brown sleep eyes with attached bristle upper eyelashes, painted eyelashes at the upper corners and on the lower eyelashes, open/closed mouth with light red lip color
Clothes: A white velour romper with embroidered flowers has a pink and white checkered collar. A white velour hat is adorned with a pink and white gingham ribbon.
Other: This doll’s hangtag indicates the African American doll, style number 29423, was introduced in 1998. The original 1960s Baby Victoria dolls by Madame Alexander did not include Black dolls. Black and white versions were reproduced during the late-1990s. Lifelike Baby Victoria’s left index finger is pointed; the left thumb is straight, and all other fingers and the right thumb are curled under.
