Clothes: Bex wears an off-white lacy blouse with three-quarter length, cuffed sleeves; a Peter Pan collar, and a royal blue ribbon neck bow. The royal blue shorts are lined with white satin-like fabric. Cotton-blend underwear, orange tights, and black lace-up Dr. (Doc) Martens-style boots complete her “modern-girl” look.
Other: Designed in the UK and manufactured in China, Bex is the only dark-skinned doll in the A Girl for All Time collection of historical and modern British fashion play dolls. The doll was released in 2018 after a successful crowdfunding campaign.
The 1st headshot photo illustrates the doll’s original tightly coiled uneven hair. The hair was later twisted, untwisted, finger combed, and gold-tone hair ornaments added. The earrings were also added after piercing the ears.
