Blanca’s cloth body (stomach area) is also hand-signed, H. Gunzel / 91. Pablo’s head is marked with Hildegard Gunzel’s incised signature / 1993, and the breastplate is marked ©93 / H. Gunzel (incised signature). Blanca and Pablo have Alexander Doll Company Inc. care-instruction body tags.
Heights: 24, 16, and 12 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouths: Ebony has a long straight wig styled in one braid. Blanca’s shoulder-length black hair has loose curls. Pablo’s dark brown hair is short and loosely curled. Brown stationary eyes were used for the trio. Each doll has a closed mouth with a brownish-red lip color.
Clothes: Each doll is dressed in original tagged clothing made of the finest materials. The tags read Hildegard Gunzel / Collection
/ Alexander Doll Co. / MADE IN USA. (Pablo’s costume includes a navy blue vest (not shown).
Other: Ebony, Blanca, and Pablo are among a selection of limited-edition high-end dolls created during the 1990s by German doll artist, Hildegard Gunzel, in collaboration with the Madame Alexander Doll Company. Each doll has a Hildegard Gunzel Collection hang tag. Ebony and Blanca are from 1991. Pablo followed in 1993.
