Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Black synthetic hair is held away from the face with a fabric headwrap. The doll has painted facial features.
Clothes: Original print dress, head wrap, beaded necklace and gold fringed wrap, two different gold earrings; holds a basket
Other: Made in 1994, this soft-sculptured one-of-a-kind stump* doll is from Marcella Welch’s “Woman of Light Series. It was purchased by the current owner in 1995 at the Leo Moss Doll Show in Detroit, Michigan.
*Instead of legs, stump dolls have a fabric-covered body and base for support.
