Hair, Eyes, Mouths: Halle Mini Pal has short curly textured hair. Both versions of Raven have long straight synthetic wigs with two top-side braids and hazel inset eyes. All dolls have applied upper eyelashes, painted lower eyelashes, and closed mouths.

Halle Mini Pal is the first African American Maru and Friends Mini Pal. Special limited-edition Halle wears a white turtleneck, white panties, white animal-print leggings, a white sweater cape with faux fur at the neck, and gray faux suede ankle boots.

Raven Mini Pal Special Holiday Edition
Raven Mini Pal Special Holiday Edition wears a white taffeta dress with a tartan plaid collar and piping at the drop waist, a tartan plaid headband, white panties, and red flat shoes with a bow at the vamp. This Mini Pal was made in a limited edition of 200 dolls.

2017 WLBDA Holiday Limited Edition Raven Mini Pal
2017 WLBDA Holiday Limited Edition Raven Mini Pal wears an off-white dress with a faux fur collar, a hat that matches the collar, white panties, and gold flat shoes. Only 16 dolls exist.
Other: The Mini Pals were sculpted by the late Dianna Effner for Maru and Friends. Mini Pals are smaller versions of the company’s 20-inch child-like dolls. Halle, however, does not have a 20-inch counterpart, and Halle is the first Mini Pal with this complexion. The company styled the 2017 WLBDA Holiday Limited Edition Raven Mini Pal in a limited edition of 16 dolls for the We Love Black Dolls Anew Facebook group as their 2017 Christmas doll; the doll’s special hang tag denotes this. A certificate of authenticity was issued with Halle and Holiday Raven Mini Pal.
